Recycling Inkjet Cartridges
How our recycling scheme works and what cartridges we recycle.

Free Recycling Service that can make you moneyIMPORTANT NOTICE - RECYCLING CARTRIDGES

Date: 1st May 2008

System Insight has taken the decision to stop buying back empty original cartridges as part of our "buy back" scheme, this is due to the following:

  1. Increased postage charges for items sent back to our freepost address. The Royal Mail now charges by size as well as weight. This means a significant increased postage costs which in turn means that we can offer less for the returned cartridges

  2. Decreasing values being obtained for empty cartridges due to the large number now available.

  3. Lower Original Cartridge prices (albeit lower ink volumes!). It seems that the original cartridge manufacturers are making lower capacity cartridges which in turn sell for less. This means that the price of a remanufactured cartridge needs to cost much less to be more cost effective.

This does not mean that remanufactured cartridges will no longer be available, it just means that we will not be buying back empty cartridges from the 1st May 2008.

We therefore ask our customers to refrain from sending back inkjet or toner cartridges from this date.

All credits due for cartridges received before this date will still be honoured and customers will still be entitled to use the credit that have acrued against any future orders.
