- What are A3, A4, A5 and A6 paper sizes?
A4 is 'standard' size paper in Europe it is 210mmx297mm (width x height). A5 paper is simply A4 paper folded in half down the longest edge. So two A5 pages would be the same size as one A4. A6 Paper is A5 paper folded in half. As the number increases the paper size gets smaller. In contrast A3 paper is the same size as two A4 sheets joined along the longest edge. A2 Paper would be two A3 sheets joined along the longest edge. Paper sizes go up to A0 and down to A7.
- What is 'Oversize' or 'Plus' Paper
If you need to print on all of an A4 or A3 paper, you will find that the printer will not print right to the edge of the paper. This is a limitation of the printer. To get around this you would use an 'oversize' paper, you can then trim it to the correct full sheets size (A4, A3 etc) as required. This paper is often called oversize or plus paper e.g. A3+
