Installing the HiTi Apple Macintosh Driver A simple step-by-step guide for installing the Apple Mac Drivers for the HiTi 730PS Photo Printer.
We currently use a 730PS with an Apple G5 running 10.3 and we have found the driver listed below to be the best at the moment. This driver can also be used for the following printers: 630PS, 630ID, 631PL, 631PS, 631ID, PhotoShuttle, Transphotable, 640DL, 640Amphi, 640PS, 640GALA, 640ID, 641PS, 730PL, 730PS and 730GALA.

Notes:
1. This driver supports both of Mac 10.2 and 10.3 versions. (Doesn't support Mac 9.x and previous versions.)
2. This version is not compatible with earlier Mac drivers. You have to remove the old driver manually. (This incompatible message has been added in the beginning of installation.)
Installing the Driver
Follow the simple instructions below to Install the printer driver.
Once the driver is downloaded, the install program will automatically load (as shown), click "Continue" to Install the driver.
The driver installer will give you details of which printers this driver is compatible with and which OS it can run on successfully. It also gives you details on how to remove the old drivers. When you are ready, click "Continue".
You will be prompted at this point to select the destination drive that you want the install to extract the drivers to. When you are ready, click "Continue".
The drivers are ready to be installed. Click "Continue" to install them.
When the progress bar is full your drivers have been installed! Move on to the next step to set your printer up.
Connect your HiTi Photo Printer to a power source, switch it on and connect it to your Mac via the supplied USB cable. Under the printer list you should see your current printers listed, (if any). Select "Add" to start the add printer procedure.
Ensure "USB" is selected and your Mac should detect that it is connected to a HiTi Printer, (in this case it has detected a 730PS). Your Mac should now search for the appropriate driver to run this printer, (which you previously have installed).
When your Mac has found the HiTi Printer driver it will ask you if you wish to reload the browser. Click "OK" to continue.
Your HiTi printer should now be fully recognised by your Mac.
You can check to see if this has worked by viewing the printer list. If your printer appears here then you should be ready to go!
