A4 Dye Sublimation Photo Printers Compared
Although described as A4 Photo printers, Dye Sublimation Printers that use A4 paper can only usually print a maximum 10x8 image. Some printers however are able to print a 12x8 photo on 8.5x14 paper.
There are now three major players in the 10x8 Photo Printers stakes, with two manufacturers offering 12x8 prints. The quality of these prints is excellent and all printers listed below offer the usual benefits of Dye Sublimation Printing.
Not all of the printers below can be used stand alone, some must be connected to a PC.

The Olympus P440 is the only printer that doesn't need to be used with a Computer, xD memory is supported as standard, although Compactflash and others can be used with an optional adapter(s).
