Guild of PhotographersGuild of Photographers

The Guild Of Photographers was established in 1988 by Ian Gee and Roy Doorbar, two photographers who are well known for their excellence and craftsmanship. Since then, the Guild has become recognised as a leading influence in the lives of its members, giving them guidance and companionship, and a helping hand where necessary.

Guild of PhotographersIn July 2004, David Evans and Joan Roberts took over the Guild and are looking to build on its strengths to create an even stronger association for its members and the public. Both David and Joan have approximately thirty years experience in the photographic world.

David trained as a photographer at Waverley Photographic in Devon, whilst Joan trained as a photographer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service (or the Wrens, is it is familiarly known!). They met whilst working for Kodak – answering technical questions (a huge variety!) at the company’s Holborn offices.

Since then, Joan has roamed the world as a cruise ship photographer, operated a roving baby portrait studio in shopping centres, taken over a camera shop, installing a studio, and now she runs a studio (portrait and weddings) at Moorlinch Vineyard, where we have based the offices for the Guild.

Hi-Touch HiTi 730PS Dye Sublimation Photo Printer

In our opinion the Hi-Ti 730PS allows the event photographer to print at an event and produce good quality images, quickly, cheaply and without fuss.

We were very impressed with the results that the printer displayed straight out of the box, although easy to use the few questions we had were quickly answered by the very helpful people at System Insight who knew their stuff!

The Hi-Ti 730PS definitely gets the thumbs up from us.
