The KODAK PROFESSIONAL 9810 Digital Photo Printer is a low-priced roll-fed, dye sublimation printer designed for printing high-quality, professional images and proofs on-demand.

How does the 9810 Digital Photo Printer compare to other KODAK Thermal Printers?
The 9810 Printer is based on the same technology as Kodak's other thermal printers. And whereas the 1400 and 8500 Digital Photo Printer were designed for low-volume desktop applications, the 9810 Printer is a roll-fed printer that prints continuous 8x10-inch (20x25 cm) images in 39 seconds. It also has a 300-print per roll capacity to support high-volume retail, event, and specialty applications, and higher throughput. The 9810 prints borderless images, eliminating the need for manual trimming.

What are the key features of the KODAK 9810 Printer?

The computer does not need to be dedicated to printing. The KODAK 9810 Printer is designed to connect to a computer running from WINDOWS 2000 or WINDOWS XP Systems.

Why is there no matte offering or MAC OS with the KODAK PROFESSIONAL 9810 Digital Photo Printer?
Kodak continue to evaluate many features and marketplace appeal, making the necessary trade-offs to arrive at the final product and targeted cost. Matte media and MAC OS, like other features, will continue to be evaluated.

Will media sold for use in the KODAK PROFFESSIONAL 8500 Digital Photo Printer work with the KODAK 9810 Printer?

Calibration is not required at a specific usage interval. The calibration utility is provided to allow users to calibrate the printer with known targets or to deliver a specific colour tone effect. Kodak has found that, in almost all cases, users are satisfied with the factory calibration on KODAK thermal printers and do not need to calibrate the printer.

Are ADOBE PHOTOSHOP Export Modules available?
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP Export Modules are not required or available. The 9810 Printer is designed as an open system that can be printed to by virtually any application. The system includes printer drivers for WINDOWS 2000, WINDOWS XP.

Is there a metallic paper option?
Metallic paper is not available.

Will it print on transparency material?
No, only EKTATHERM Paper is available for the printer.
