CP9600DW-S & CP9550DW-S Printer Compared Difference between these two Dye Sub Printers explained

Mitsubishi use either the CP9550DW-S or the recently introduced CP9600DW-S for use on their Click IT5000 micro lab solution, Flexilab and also the PT7000/PT9000 kiosk systems. The CP9600DW-S is a high-resolution system printer for those requiring 'ultra fine' detail boasting 600dpi. The difference between the 9600DW-S and the 9550DW-S, is shown below:

Difference between the CP9600DW-S and the CP9550DW-S
The CP9600DW-S is NOT a replacement for the CP9550DW-S and likewise can only be used on a Mitsubishi kiosk system, NOT on a PC or MAC. The specifications are the same except for one important feature: The CP9550DW-S prints at 346 & 600 dpi, while the CP9600DW-S prints only at the higher resolution of 600dpi).
