KODAK PROFESSIONAL 8500 Digital Photo Printer Calibration Utility for WINDOWS Systems

The 8500 Printer Calibration Utility for the Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, helps to maintain consistent high quality printing from Windows based desktop applications to the Kodak Professional 8500 Digital Photo Print System.

Download and Installation Information
Click the download button to download the Calibration Utility. A "Save as" dialog will appear. Once the file has been saved to your system, double-click the file to decompress the software. A WinZip Self-Extractor window will appear. Unzip the contents to an appropriate folder. See the Readme file for information on installing the Calibration Utility.

IMPORTANT - Please Read this before Downloading

To utilize the Calibration Utility with the 8500 printer:

Firmware version 070C13 or greater is required.
Printer serial numbers less than 0004300 require the firmware to be updated:

Availability of the Firmware Updater is shown below:

• Win98: Available now. Download the Firmware Updater from the 8500 Software page.
• Win 2000/XP: Available now. Download the Firmware Updater from the 8500 Software page.
• Win NT4: Not Available. See Note below.
• Macintosh: Available now. Download the Firmware updater from the 8500 Firmware page.

Note: If you have access to a PC that uses the WINDOWS 98/Me or the WINDOWS 2000/XP operating system, you can use it to update the firmware by downloading the Firmware Updater for the appropriate OS from the 8500 Firmware Page.
